Default Send MMC Midi Clock

Hi,
I can't seem to figure out why Pro Tools 10 is not sending MMC. I am using Pro Tools as the master to send midi clock to a sequencer, but it is not sending bar / beat information. Meaning, every time I pause and restart pro tools, the sequencer starts at a random beat within the 1 bar phrase.

Thanks

So what you're saying is that the sequencer is never in time with Pro Tools, or are you saying that the sequencer never starts on the 1st down beat? It would help to know whether you're sending MIDI Machine Control, MIDI Time Code, or MIDI Beat Clock.

If it's not starting on the 1, you have to give the sequencer enough time to sync up to Pro Tools.

If it's never in time, you need to be sending time code or beat clock.

Thanks. But, the sequencer is in time (synced by pro tools midi clock), it is just not starting on the correct beat.

It's not an issue with the sequencer "waiting", as the sequencer works perfectly with Live 9, which is able to send it midi machine control, which tells it where in the 1 bar pattern it is at any given moment.

Ugh.

MIDI machine control does not transmit bar beat info, only transport commands. MMC is controlled in Settings>Peripherals.
