Processing the mix
Any one know if you can process the whole mix? Take everything out of 1&2 and say run it through a BBE then bring it back into PT. I know I could take the output from the BBE and mixdown to an external deck, just curious if it can be done within PT to bouce BTD.

Re: Processing the mix
Yes. Set-up an insert in the I/O preferences for your outboard gear. The caveat is that you must use the same numbered inputs & outputs for it to work (e.g. outs 5&6 -> external gear -> ins 5&6). You can then select this insert where you would select your plugins (the top of the channel strip).

Re: Processing the mix
If you must run your mix through the BBE(which I highly recommend against) I would recommend going out of PT to an external recorder, rather than going through the coversion process twice in PT, with it's not so great converters.
Hope this is helpful. |
