Re: Pro tools 9 assertion error cannot import any data
Does the same thing happen when you try to open or import data from one of the Session File Backups? It could be a plugin problem - try importing the session data without the plugins. If that solves it, you just need to figure out which plugin is causing the problem. Good luck!

Re: Pro tools 9 assertion error cannot import any data
I've found I can usually avoid errors ("...while translating tracks", access violations, etc.) when trying to import session data by ensuring that:
The I/O settings in the target session are *ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL* to the settings in the source session before attempting the import. This includes the Input, Output, and Bus tabs. Hope that helps. |
