Upgrades and Master Account

I have current have a full license of Pro Tools 10.

I need to upgrade and I am sure create a subscription plan.

The problem is that under my master account, my Pro Tools 10 license is not showing. Only my Pro Tools 7 license is showing. When I try to add the Pro Tools 10 info, it says I have to input my System Id. From reading up on this, supposedly I need a subscription. Isn't this a catch 22, which comes first my existing license or a subscription?

I just want to upgrade to most recent release.
