Mass mailings always take a bit -- I'm going to patiently wait thru tomorrow before writing them back, but I'm really glad they responded to me.

Feel free to pipe back up here when you get your discount e-mailed to you - and remember: you need to have registered PT9 w/ AVID, it needs to be showing up under your "Your Account" -- "Your Products" acct product list, otherwise you may have to call AVID to get it to show up there. I think they use that in order to qualify you for the discount.

Here is the info I received from Sweetwater when I orderd/purchased the boxed package crossgrade from PTMaudio8 to PT9. I called on the phone and and talked to a sales rep, not a online purchase.
I purchased last week when I received my email, and asked for both items at the same time.

Correct. In your case both look to have been purchased at the same time, with the 40% discount already-included. That isn't what most of us here did. We bought, or cross-graded, to PT9 only....and the AVID advertising stated we would STILL qualify for the discount of 40% off of IEP in a separate purchase event. To that effect, the e-mail I received last night clears that up, and we're supposed to get an e-mailed 40% off of IEP discount-code before the week is out. This will allow us to get the same discount in a separate purchase, as the advertising stated.

We're working on this now - there are a few other things that we need to fix related to other promotions and we want to try to do it all in one fell swoop, rather than having to send multiple emails.

Awesome Digi, thanks so much for the update. And kudos to AVID for honoring the advertising-language during the busy launch period. It means a lot to cross-graders who either didn't catch the promo during the rush to buy, or for those who found they have some extra cash after their PT9 purchase. Your efforts will be rewarded by instant-revenue I'm sure, as I know a few of us are ready, credit card in hand, to purchase IEP when the discount code arrives.
