Calibrate the faders ?!
My fader number 8 seemed to not be calibrated ok, when I have 8 tracks activated so the last fader is "online" it flies up and down on time per second or something, between 0db and -3db or something, I dont see it in protools or in volume at C8, just the physical fader is crazy. And when I set it at top I just have +7,5dB, not 12dB as the others. I have just upgrade the firmware but it didnt help, before I had +8.6dB at top and now +7,5dB so something happend.
When I turn it off and on it seems to calibrate all faders correct, I have no errors. But the problem still remains. Is there a way to calibrate the faders or do I have to send it back? |

Re: Calibrate the faders ?!
You can reset the faders, essentially calibration. Very simple procedure. Just check out the C8 manual for all the utility functions.
I believe it's something along the lines of F1 utility -> Fadcal (channel select 1) and then it does it's thing. Press channel 8 select switch to exit. I notice after about a week of constant use the C8 faders start acting a little goofy. Therefore I run this calibration about once a week. |

Re: Calibrate the faders ?!
I tried that but that calibration doesnt fix the problem. I notice that all the faders goes up to a value of 1023 except for the fader 8 that only goes up to 930 when I runt "test faders". And in the middle all the others have value 510-511 and fader 8 has 460. It would be great to manually set the high value to 1023 :/
