Default Confused About Avid Media Station PT

Anybody using Avid Media Station PT? I am considering buying it, but am unclear on what it can really do. Everywhere I look on the Digi site I find the same paragraph about "complete control from ingest to layback". I use Virtual VTR, so I'm not interested in a V10 or Mojo. Digi says I can buy the Avid Media Station PT software seperately. So the $64,000 question is; can I use it to do auto conforms of just audio using my PT hardware and an EDL or Avid sequence?

Media Station|PT is available to purchase without hardware for those who already have a Mojo. V10 (Win XP only) or Mojo are required for the software to run.

Hi Jordan,

You speak as if this is now available. Is that true? My Mojo wants one.

If it is, then where do I get it - I can't see it on the Digistore.

Thanks.

THIS IS ABSURD! I would have to own a video peripheral to do a PostConform?

See? That's why I'm still waiting for Grandson of PostConform... This is an Avid, and you can't edit on it.

So lets see:

mojo+mediastation+machinecontrol= 3444$
if you don´t have digitranslator yet add another 500$

why not buy a whole real AVID express instead?

frank.

For one reason, Express Pro will not see your audio interfaces.
