Regarding stability, this release rocks! Pro Tools 9 is very-very stable here from day one, and this release is not an exception.
I'm glad!

I agree.

There are always going to be some quirks to get ironed out but I am really liking PT 9 so far.

Ditto this for me.. + the fact I'm seeing that they screwed with the Grid.. & really, the only issue I hav is the 'Quickpunch-pop' which is driver related so I'll stick with 9...

Keep in mind the grid 'problem' may not be a factor, depending on how you work. You can still see grid lines by using Slip+Grid and move things off the grid by using holding 'command' while click-moving the region.

Sure you can work around it, but it was nicer when it worked as designed. Much like the Autosave function. I hope we see a fix on this before the next dot release.

I think I am skipping this one. I was hoping for some major upgrades for third party interfaces. There are some real issues shared with many brands like the "Interface not found" bug.

For me, that they messed the grid lines give me major pause. I wonder what else has been overlooked? I will wait for the verdict. I really do like PT9 though.

After install my whole system would NOT recognize my inserted ilok. Reinstalling the pace driver did NOT do the trick. A few restart and parameter rams later PT finally accepted my ilok...

Then I had something that I usually dont have with PT... Crash after crash after crash. In fact PT crashes to often the past 4 hours than it did the past half year in my setup....

NOt say it is PT but it all went south after running the update.

I hope you imaged your drive first as suggested at the start of this thread. Just roll back if you did.
