EUCON 20.6.1 Now available

Avid is pleased to announce the release of EUCON 20.6.0 with bug fixes and performance enhancements for S1, Control App and other EUCON surfaces. Download it from your Avid Account or the Avid Download Center. Note: The old MyArtist site is no longer updated, find instruction on it for getting access to the Download Center.

EDIT: Updated to 20.6.1 to fix Incorrect tracks in Layouts and Layouts not appearing in the Control App after switching DAW focus. The current 20.6.0 Control App is what is supported with this release.

I'm still encountering the same issue even after updating to Eucon to 20.6.1. i have deleted the software and installed it several times. does anyone have this same issue.

Hello,
I was using Eucontrol two weeks ago and everything was working fine. Last weekend I tried to use it and nothing. My iPad would show up in the devices window but it would not connect. I checked the version on the computer and it is 20.6.1. My iPad is 20.6.0. So I thought there was a miss match with firmware so I tried to go back a version and it downloaded and installed and then vanished. I tried to download 20.6.1 and same thing; downloaded, installed and vanished. Now I have no Eucontrol at all. I bought an ASC code from Avid for $40 and never got a code. I got a receipt and Avid has my money but I'm dead in the water. I hope someone here can help.

Hi Mike, sorry for your issues. Correct versions are 20.6.0 on the iPad and 20.6.1 EuControl.
Are you Mac or Windows? Either way run the 20.6.1 Installer select Remove all Apps and remover all prefs, after reboot then run the installer again

Thanks for getting back to me. I will try that. I am using an iMac. Where will I see "Remove all Apps and remover all prefs" after rebooting? Because after rebooting previously nothing appeared as an option.

Run the EUCON Workstation installer and you will see the checkboxes. Out of interest...what did you install...should have been the very top checkbox only.

PM me with any details of the case/$40 etc you have

So I did what you suggested and still no Eucontrol. I don't know where it goes but it disappears. I have been checking the Eucontrol Workstation Checkbox. It is not the top checkbox however.

We have renamed the EuControl Workstation line to make it more clear in the next release. It's meant for adding a 2nd WS to the system. So don't feel bad as it was confusing others.
