Default Problem with Pro Tools Ultimate

Hi ,
I have a big problem since i update my Pro Tools to the ultimate version.
When i record a track, as soon as i finish record, the audio clip move some samples before the start of my record.
I read that some people have the same problem.
Have some advice or is it a bug of Pro Tools ?

And i have an another problem (always since i update to ultimate) with the input monitoring with the audio track. there is a latency who not exist with the Aux tracks.

Actually i become mad, because i can't use Pro Tools as usually.

Please, could you help me.

Thank you in advance.
Harry

Go to your Avid account and create a support case, they might be able to help you.

I don't think it's a bug otherwise the forum would be full of threads about it. Meanwhile you can look for a pinned thread called "Help us help you"

Maybe it's time to modify the post form by forcing the starter to fill it with its specs and sys used. Mac? PC? Which os version? Session S/R? Buffer setting?
Please............

When i record a track, as soon as i finish record, the audio clip move some samples before the start of my record.
Never seen this(currently running 2018.4 Ultimate) but it COULD be "Compensate after record pass"(or whatever its called) which I believe is on the Input tab of the IO Setup window.(UN-check that option and test again).

...with the input monitoring with the audio track. there is a latency who not exist with the Aux tracks.
Not sure I understand the question. Is Delay Compensation turned on? Set (under the View menu) Mix Windows Shows>Delay Compensation(check it). Now across the bottom of the MIX window, you should see all the ADC numbers. Best practice while recording is:
no plugins on the Master track that have latency(if you have something like a mastering limiter on the master, keep in inactive until its time to mix). Then review the Delay Compensation numbers. If ANYTHING is reporting more than a few samples of latency, disable the plugin that causes it(make the plugin inactive. Using bypass does NOT cancel the latency).

Delay Compensation factoid for those that are new to this stuff; Compensation works by looking for the track with the most latency, and makes all other tracks late to match(so the higher the bottom Delay number, the more latency you will hear when trying to record new audio). And, latency on the master is NOT compensated for(because it really does not NEED to be to keep tracks in alignment), so if you are listening to the main outputs, any latency caused by master plugins simply adds MORE delay(NOT an issue for playback or mixing, but don't try to record any audio with all that latency)

The total latency you hear while recording is the sum of:
ADC and DAC(conversion to/from digital),
+plugin latency(and compensation)
+latency of Master Track plugins
+buffer setting
SO, round trip conversion might be 74 samples
then add plugins like my fav JJP Drum 630 samples
Ozone on the master track...around 5500 samples
buffer setting........................................64 samples
total latency.....................................6268 samples(and nobody can record new audio with all that latency). Remove the plugin latency and Master track latency and everything gets much better

I tried "Compensate after record pass" on or off. No solution here.
Perhaps an option in preference, but which ?
I'm become always mad, because i can't use Pro Tools.

Ps: Buffer setting at 512, because i have lot track, with lot of plug in on. (Synth, effect, etc....).
At 256, Pro Tools stop the play or record mode too often. Even with 128 Gb ram.

How about some system info as we have no clue as to what you are trying to run PT on. Not even what OS...
