Default Using fader for send

Is there a way to use the fader on the dock to control the fader on the send
in other words, like a flip function?
I want to use that nice big fader on the dock to control the send fader, or group send faders
I hope I'm making myself clear.... I know I can control the fader send with the knob, but it would be nice to to be able to flip the fader functionality, so far I can't figure out if it's possible

Cheers

Sends are supposed to be controlled by the knobs on both sides of the iPad. A flip function is missing. I guess flipping isn’t part of the concept. If you combine the Dock with Artist Mix or S3 flipping is possible.

I have the same question before I pull the trigger on the Dock. I need to be able to use the fader to automate a send level as I often make drastic send level moves that most likely wouldn't work well with the knob. Avid tech support says you can use the fader to automate the send level. I have asked them how to actually make it happen but haven't heard back yet.

Can anyone confirm for sure whether or not you can use the hardware fader on the Dock to write send level automation?

Currently, you cannot. I asked Eddie Jones if fader flip was going to be an option for the Dock, and he replied that it was on their list:

Yes Flip for the Dock is on the list.

This is from March 2018. I don't know if it's in the anticipated coming May release of Eucon, but we can ask EddieJones.

Thanks Garrard. I guess I'll just sit tight then and wait until the May release.
