Re: Anyone Else Hearing a Fuzzy Phasing Thing in EXP with High Gain Patches?
L-Dogg, but what happens when you're at 10.0 and you need that little extra bump to push you over the edge. Then what do you do? See that's why I made 10.0=9.0, so that 10.0 actually equals 11.0. See it makes perfect sense!

BTW, a sincere thank you, to you and the team; for a nice upgrade! Lotsa juicy stuff in there. The Plexi stuff and the RB-01b are super.... but the MS-30 just slays me.

Awesome, thanks! And I'll get right on changing the 0.1 speaker breakup setting so it works better.

Re: Anyone Else Hearing a Fuzzy Phasing Thing in EXP with High Gain Patches?
I also experienced this after the expansion pack install.
it is really annoying and I wish there was a way to uninstall the expansion pack just to check if it disappears, if it does then I could live without the expansion pack because it really kills the tone. EDIT: Oops, maybe i should read ALL the posts before posting myself. Anyway, gonna try to intsall the 1.03 and see what happens... |

Re: Anyone Else Hearing a Fuzzy Phasing Thing in EXP with High Gain Patches?
As far as I know this is the normal behavior for the plexi models when you use both channels and dial in a lot of gain, I've read somewhere that the exact same thing happens with the real amp. I for one like it as long as it's not exaggerated, if you don't there are two possible workarounds: 1) lower the overall gain 2) lower the gain on just one of the channels of the plexi. Also keep in mind that the 50W plexi saturates at much lower volume settings than the standard (100W) plexi, and as good as these models might be they can be made to sound crappy if you use too much gain.

Re: Anyone Else Hearing a Fuzzy Phasing Thing in EXP with High Gain Patches?
the easiest work-around for me has been to lower the gain of one channel and then add a white boost pedal to get the desired gain level.
