Default PSP Master comp, nearest plugin comp to Manley Vari MU?

Hi,

Been having a long and serious play with the PSP Master Comp and its very impressive! with the SC filters its has that similar feature to the Manley Vari MU, to side chain out the low frequencies from the compressor so the low frequencies don't drive the compressor too much!

Also has a mix control, so you can balance the dry and wet/compressed signal (a bit like parallel compression!) anayway all in all a very impressive bus compressor.

1 negative though: its a CPU hog? @96k it uses almost all the cpu on my 2gig dual G5 at 48k with fat mode off its not bad but still quite heavy, but excellent processing all the same.

Any other views on this product?

Their vintage warmer is a good buy at $149 and their discount escalator is a great idea!! the more you buy the bigger the discount is etc.

I have both and use both quite often, but they sound nothing alike. Both really great and useful, though.
