In PT7, Is There Still Loss of Auto Parameters ?

I am wondering if the problem of the loss of automation parameters still exists in PT7
I am in 6.9.3 cs3 and it is buggy as hell no matter what I do

I am wondering if this goes away with the PT7.1 cs5 upgrade install and the new PT7 plugin versions

please advise

I encountered that same problem in 6.4, after which I made an immediate jump to 7 and abandoned the previous. So far 7.0 has been very stable for me. I have not re-encountered that missing auto parameter problem.

If you are using Pro Tools 6.9.3, you can also solve the problem by making sure all your third-party are updated to the 7.0 versions.

However, we expect to have a CS version posted soon for Pro Tools 6.9.3 that should eliminate the need to update your plug-ins to the 7.0 versions when using Pro Tools 6.9.3.

Don't forget that there is a workaround for any missing automation parameters, that is in fact much easier anyway. Hold Control+Option+Command and click on any automatable control in the plug-in window. You can then directly add that parameter to your automation list.
