Default Screen Video Capture software for Pro Tools

Russ,
What program do you use to create your blog videos and how easy is it to get the program to record the audio from Pro Tools?

Uh, well, I'm not Russ, but I think he uses ishowu which is a great screen capture software.
Another one I recommend is screenflow.

A good free one is Jing by techsmith. IShowU HD is the best paid one I've found.

I have Jing Pro. It captures the video perfectly but NO sound from Pro Tools. How do you get to record the audio using any of these programs with Pro Tools?

How do you get any of these softwares to RECORD the audio in Pro Tools?
Russ how do you do it?

For example, I tried using Jing Pro and of course the video is perfect but the audio is silent since Pro Tools is playing the audio through its interface (002, 003, mBox, etc).

Mason - typically you can do a couple things, the first being recording your mic into Pro Tools either during or after video capture (I usually do it after). Then import the video into Pro Tools and edit the audio as needed, then bounce out the movie with audio.

Of course you could capture the audio into another app (requires second sound card or Digi interface with multi-client core audio capabilities) and then fly it over to Pro Tools for the final bounce, as above. This would be used if you wanted to show something specific in Pro Tools and capture everything in one go, but couldn't place your audio record track for the voice-over off-screen or didn't want the recording track of the VO in the video.

Perhaps you can help me understand this better. I have a 002 rack. Does it have multi-client core audio capabilities?
I also have a sound card in my PC. Does that constitute as a 'second sound card'?
How do I go about getting the Pro Tools audio recorded this way?
