Default Repositioning Multiple Keyframes Vertically ...

I can move a selected group of keyframes backward or forward in time by way of nudging.

Is it possible to perform the same function with relative amplitude? In other words - repositioning multiple selected keyframes verticially?

As a basic example lets say I have 3 keyframes used to create a linear fade. I want to retain their relative relationship while repositioning all three keyframes verticially (affecting amplitude) as opposed to horizontally.

thx.

What is a "keyframe" in Pro Tools ? (I am German)
Do you talk about nudging volume automation / clip gain ?

Yes

The nodes you are referring to can be moved forward and back w nudge or select a few and then drag your mouse (when using the trim tool) up when looking at the volume automation and now your changing the amplitude of all selected nodes

EDIT: Oh, are you asking if you can set that to a specific number like you can change the nudge value?

Thank You for the help! Yeah so what I failed to do was switch over to the Trim Tool before attempting to move the selection verticially. Got it now.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to nudge selected animation points vertically?

And lastly (in response to your edit) - it would be great to be able to set a speciific amplitude value. Is it possible?

Again, thanks.

I have never tried to even see if there is a way to set a certain level when adjusting automation... I think you can snap it to "0" but I dont think you can make it work like nudge does in that fashion... to me its not a big deal cause I can see how much volume Im lifting or lowering them while you move the mouse... In MOST cases I usually write the automation with a motorized fader and if I dont like it I redo it... but thats just how I prefer to do it. Sometimes using exact #'s (like always jumping 3db for example) doesn't calculate in audio mixing... but hey everyone has their own thing...

Not with volume automation, but with clip gain : Start Shift Up/Down Arrows or Start Shift Scrollwheel. The nudge value for this is set in setup-preferences-editing.
(And it is not called animation points but automation breakpoints.)

Open the Output Window by pressing the very little fader symbol right next to the Output Path Selector,
click/highlight the volume number, type exact number, enter.
