PT HD comes with ???

Hi,

I'm an owner of PT HD 8 software and I recently bought a Mbox2 for working at home. It's a second hand and I don't have a PT install given with it so I was wondering if a "soft" software version came with PT HD I have in my studio (not tried yet) ?

LE, Mpowered maybe ? Problem, I'm working on 10.7 at home.
Can I get a download from digi (Avid sorry) ? Any solution ? :)

You can use PT10 with it, and just switch the Ilok back and forth as needed.

Ok but how can I download PT 10 ? There is a PT 8 authorization on my iLok, not PT10, this will work anyway ?

Can I buy another iLok cause I'm not the only one using PT HD in the studio, and transfer licenses on the new iLok to use it at home ?

Pro Tools 10 is a paid upgrade so you'll need to shell out the money for it. The Pro Tools license will only reside on one iLok at a time. You should ask the seller about transferring his/her Pro Tools license to you.

I don't want to upgrade my PT 8 HD I don't need it :)
I was wondering if after paying a HD, I should have a free PT LE or whatever coming with it, so I could work at home ...

After reading your answers, it figures I'm too optimistic.

With HD8 and earlier, there was no free LE version of the program included, as they were two separate products.

But beginning with 9, and now 10, the installers are the same.


But if you can't take the Ilok home to use with your PT10, then it doesn't help.

I don't have PT10, I understood I wasn't clear in my firt message, whand I say I'm working on 10.7 I meant OSX 10.7 :)
I wrote this because PT8 isn't compatible with 10.7

You are misunderstanding peoples replies.

You MUST buy a copy of Protools 9 or higher.

That is your only option.
