Strange message: \"Clock error detected.\"
I've started getting this message when opening protools m-powered:
"Your clock is set to a date that is inconsistent with the release date of Pro Tools. Press "Cancel" to exit Pro Tools and adjust your clock setting. Press "OK" to ignore this warning and continue." After pressing "OK" about 5-8 times, protools finally opens. What's wrong with my protools? And how do I fix it? Can someone please help me! Thanks in advance! |

Re: Strange message: \"Clock error detected.\"
I guess I will ask the obvious question:
What date is your computer clock set to? EDIT: After doing some experiments: The error you got comes from the date being set too early. If it is set too late, say around 2040, I get 3 errors: 1. "An unexpexted autorization error 120 occured. ID: ePAY: 120/Mom :8618" 2. "An unexpexted autorization error 120 occured. ID: ePAY: 120/Mom :8618" 3. "Unable to locate M-Audio Hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on." And ProTools quits. |
