move plugins to unused folder, try again. if the stops are gone, you know it is some plugin that causes them.

if it is, then move plugins back one vendor at a time. test again. once stops come back, you know which vendor is at fault.

then move that vendor plugins away once again, moving them back one plugin at a time. once stops come back, you know which plugin it is.

repeat until you have moved all plugins back, par those who give you stops. then contact those plugin vendors and ask what's going on.

Unfortunately, I don't believe it has something to do with the plugins. Every time I turn off both the PT edit and the mixing window and control everything with my C24 the session runs smooth - despite of how many and what plugins are working...

you don't have to believe it. move ALL your plugins to unused folder and continue editing. if there are no stops then, the reason is one (or more) of your plugins

Yes. Moving all Slate plug-ins to the unused folder has helped here as well.

Moved most out and same erratic behavior... Also- eleven lite, Maxim, dynamicsIII and most avid plugins keep making their way back to the plugins folder... (while still in the unused folder as well)
