After update, Scheps Channel Strip plug won't load
Yesterday, I used the Waves installer and installed the CLA Mixhub, and also updated my Scheps channel strip, JJP drums and the VU meter plug.
After doing the installs/updates, I rebooted, then booted up PT. During the plugin scan as it was scanning the Waves plugins I get a pop up window that says "The following plugins failed to load because they are not valid 64 bit AAX plugins" Then it lists the Waveshell 10 as the culprit and asks if I want to put these in the unused plugins folder. I clicked "NO" and PT opened. The ONLY Waves plugin that's now missing is the Scheps. The JJP is there and all the other Waves plugs I have, and the new CLAMixhub works just fine, too. Not sure what to do next. Any help would be appreciated! Win 10 64 bit, Pro Tools 2018.12.

Do a clean install. Uninstall all Waves using Centre, send your licenses to the cloud and install back using easy install and activate. Should work.

Other things you could try
Trashing PT prefs. Try a repair from Waves Central.

This is why we stopped using Waves all together. Just like AIR which also screw up when something needs updating etc.
I mean how hard can it be for a pretty large developer like Waves to make a functioning update and istall function that doesn’t require two theee hours of deleting and reinstalling. No Bueno !!

I just had this happen saturday. i moved my licenses to the cloud, rerfomatted the thumb drive i use for licenses, moved them back and everything worked again. The software is so mix and match these days i am almost amazed when things acutally work the way they are supposed too

Thanks for the responses. At least Im not alone! Ill start simple and work my way up. Ill uninstall and reinstall just the Scheps first. Then go on to more involved solutions if that doesnt work.
I try to avoid trashing prefs I fat all possible! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Really? That I did not know. I don't recall ever uninstalling anything Waves before. I've not had any real trouble with them over the years. Always found them stable and useful. But now this. I won't be able to do anything on it until tonight or tomorrow in any event as I'm out of the studio all day today. I might just contact Waves help desk to see what they suggest.
