Default RECORDING STARTED

WELL I'm on my way boys thanks for your help . My problem turned out to be me I didn't realize I was supposed to plug my guitar in the mic slot. thanks again StevensJ

Do a test and remove your FW drive and see if you can record to your system drive. I had very slow recording starts when I load up lots of samples in Kontakt. I resolved the problem by upping my RAM to 1G.

Also go into settings - Playback and set the playback buffer to 2 - this will speed up recording.

I am of course assuming you know to press play after hitting the record button and that you have at least one track record enabled.

In your prefs.. set Open Ended Record Allocation to 10 minutes.
