Default firewire connection breaks down

I have a PB667. The fw port is connected to an external iceCube HD and my 002r is daisychained to the HD. I encountered a problem which is getting worse and worse. Today, every 10 minutes, PT looses the connection the the 002r and I can't re-establish it again for half an hour. Does anybody have an idea?

Hans
