Mixed up channels MCcontrol, MCmix

Hi .. I have a Euphonix Mc Control and two Avid Artist Mix units.
They used to line up with Logic channels logically but now seem to mix the channels up. For instance Channel 1 appears on channel 8 of the MC Mix and Channel two in Logic appears as channel 5 of the second MC Mix. Also when moving around channels in Logic the Eucon units don't reset. It all used to work fine ... any ideas? Thanks Rick.

What version are you on of EuControl

i'm also experiencing issues since i've updated my Logic Pro X to version 10.5.
for example: Faders on my MC Control don't reset after quiting Logic or just closing session. They reset as soon as i open a new one, but until that, faders and on screen info are up from the last session.

I've updated Eucon software to the latest version (20.5.) but nothing changed
Other DAW's that i'm using my MC Control with (Ableton & Audition) are closing faders normally, just like Logic did before update.

Channels are still mixed up and I have the latest software EUCon from the Artist site that will not be maintained in the future. Apart from the transport on the artist the system is totally useless with Logic.

Please update to 20.6.0 or 20.6.1(coming tomorrow) and report back

Check the EuControl software, on the add surfaces page... make sure your surfaces are in the proper order from top to bottom, where ch1 is the top, and your channels get higher as you progress to the bottom.

Hi again I've just updated to 20.6.1. and updated the firmware to all three units but the tracks are still totally mixed up. I have the 2 Artist mixes and the Eu Control in the right order but the tracks are mixing between units! Totally confusing! Channels do get higher within the EU control software so that looks ok.

...It seems that the Logic tracks are random on the artist mix! The transport works and the track faders change the I click on another track in Logic ... sometimes... I can't see a pattern to it.

Hey Rick, i only have one Artist Control unit so i cannot really solve your problem, but i'm wondering what happens to your faders when you quit Logic?
Do they remain in the position from the last session?

Hi Turban.. On quitting Logic all the faders return to zero and the screen resets to oblong blanks. It's strange...the faders are connected to tracks in logic and respond but are just totally mixed up. The transport also works ok on the MC Control. I've had to revert to using the mouse as the tracks are so mixed that it takes ages to find the track that you are looking for. It has been working fine for a few years up until a couple of months ago I stayed on OSX 10.4.6 for safety and have updated both firmware and EuControl software. Don't know if I'll eventually have to find another solution.. it's a pity because this setup seemed the best solution when I looked at what is around.
