Have you checked your spam filter to see if the email got filtered by mistake?

Also, if your friend kept a delivery summary (always a good idea), they can copy and paste the delivery summary link in another email to you and you'll be able to download from that.

Without the link, there is no way to get the delivery, even if you rip the drive out and put it into your computer. The data is encrypted and is unreadable without the encryption key.

I totally understand your frustration: One of the benefits of DigiDelivery - it's security - can also be its bane. Here's the issue: For you to be able, as the admin, to decrypt the deliveries without receiving the email, the keys would have to be stored on the server, along with the files. If we did that, the files would be vulnerable to hackers. So in order to maintain security, the keys have to come separately from the deliveries. Email is the easiest mode to do that, but even that is not secure enough for some people, so we have the option to transmit the keys manually (as you know).

None of which helps you in this circumstance...

If you allowed the administrator to have multiple email addresses, then you don't run the risk of one email account losing the message.
This makes perfect sense - I'll see if we can slide it into an upcoming release.

I totally agree with this. At the very least, Digidelivery's "Posted" message to the admin should include the Digidelivery key. It is silly to have to send deliveries to myself if I want to listen to the mix later. Or to troubleshoot a problem.

Great Gordon ! Hope you can... It's a great way to check for problems we might not realize are there. Thanks

Yesterday my whole afternoon ground to a halt because my email stopped working and I couldn't get a delivery of a file that needed to go to air in 2 hrs. Since it was a LARGE file, resending it was not an option. Eventually I was able to get the email working by calling my email host and sorting out where the problem was. DTS offered no solutions, saying "I don't want to get into the politics of it, but there are reasons for these security steps being taken". Ridiculous. This is not cold fusion recipes, I am not Microsoft, this is unnecessary for most users. Let admins get files off their own servers!

Another option I try to do as much as I can -
add my email to the recipients to a gmail account or other account I have for possible key recovery.
