Sorry i didnt get back earlier, yeah i cant find the link i had, but basically i had read over at gearslutz (i think) one of the guys said he knew someone at digidesign/avid that had told him the next C24 was on its way. Dont know any specific details and i cant find his post. I know it sounds a little dodgy, but it didnt read dodgy if that makes sense?

Which sucks for me as im tossing up between C24, second hand 32 fader DCommand or waiting for a second hand 32 fader ICON DControl to fall into my price range, or at least at a price range i can attempt to convince the missus??

Tough decisions eh? C24 and more outboard gear, Dcommand and less outboard gear, Dcontrol and no outboard gear.

My Spidey-sense tells me that the next control surface will be similar to a Venue series console in that every channel has EQ and dynamics built in. If not, that's what I want.

Id just hate to purchase the C24 and then hear that the next console comes out in a month or so.

How bad is it having the row of encoders (C24) in front of the scribble strip? It sounds stupid but that looks like it'd annoy the $#!+ out of me?? And dare i say it, a big reason for me to wait and see whats next?

Oh and spidey-sense?? looks like you just compromised your secret identity. DO'H!
