Sorry, i searched but to no avail, im pretty tired right now and could use some guidance so thank you in advance.

Im looking for a thread where people post their Built PC's and compare specs for the best optimal performance of PTLE 8 on Windows XP.

Im thinking about building myself a new computer strictly for Pro Tools and im thinking i might as well drop the necessary money so i don't have to worry again, Say maybe 1000-1200? Im thinking that ballpark will get me something worth keeping for some time.

Or the i7 thread, or any one of a million or so that have been on here..

The best thing to do would be to decided just what your recording needs will be, then read what Digi has to say about what you need for what you want to do. Then look at building a system around that.

What works for one fellow might not work for you.
