Default Does HiSierra support PCIE on Mac Pro Tower?

Does HiSierra support PCIE on Mac Pro Tower? I just upgraded my 2012 MacPro tower to 10.13.3. I was running PT 12.8.3 and having disappearing graphics from my PT screen during sessions. Upgrading to Hi Sierra fixed that, but a day later my PCIE card stopped working. I don't know whether that a coincidence or not. At any rate naturally my ext. recording drive and BU recording drive were both on my pcie card so they are not working now. I luckily have OWC drives that have a multitude of inputs so I moved these to my 800 drive sockets on the Mac and they are working again. the question then is: Does 10.13.3 support PCIE cards?

Short answer = yes. It was likely a coincidence that it has failed or there are some other settings that are preventing it from working properly. But OS 10.13.3 deff supports PCIe. I would assume your GPU card is in the bottom most x16 slot (so that alone should have been a clue that it supports PCIe). I have a USB 3.0 PCIe card in slot #2 (which a x4 slot) and it also works fine.
