Default Is Upgrading Worth It?

I am currently running Pro Tools 11 on a Windows 10 64bit PC.
Is upgrading to Pro Tool 2018 worth it??

Absolutely. My 2011 MacBook was struggling to run PT10 with a small number of plugins. The same machine flies now that I've got PT2018; seems that PT is MUCH more efficient in the new version.

Either that or it's Witchcraft.

It might might be worth reviewing the release notes to see what's changed.

Moving away from a fully functional version of Pro Tools can be a minefield. So whatever you do, clone your PT11 drive as a backup.

I'd then be inclined to take a months subscription to see how the 'upgrade' performs on your computer before committing to it.

The new features available since PT11 (I won't list them all for you) have been very helpful in my day to day work. They will probably be good for you too, but do your own research if you really want more details.

Agreed.

Drag Midi To Audio is ace, and Clip Gain pretty much changed my life.

Would you be paying the $999 price to get 2018?
