Default Lexicon Native Reverb

We installed this bundle after picking it up on a sale. They sound great, but, within a few reboots they cause our HDX system to fail. The boot sequence gets just past the Lexicon bundle and then freezes. The crash even keeps me from running Sonic Soundblade. The ONLY solution I've found is to remove the Lexicon bundle from the plugins folder. Then everything else works fine.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Jim,

Which version of Lexicon are you running? Mac or windows OS version? And which version of Pro Tools? I have used every version of the PCM Native reverb bundle since the AAX public beta, and never run into this. This is on various versions of PT11 HD and either OSX 10.8 or 10.10. I'm not running HDX, maybe someone else with an HDX system can chime in.... But I'm not sure why this would affect only HDX systems since it is a native only plugin.

I'm running HDX on Windows and have not seen any negative issues with Lexicon PCM verbs.

Thanks for the responses. We're running on Mavericks, PTHD 11.3.1, 6 Core MacPro (Trashcan model). The HDX card is in a Sonnet Thunderbolt Chassis along with a UA Octo PCIe card. The Lexicon plugins are the current release of the Native Reverb bundle, which I believe to be the Flagship set, it certainly cost enough.. The plugs sound great. It could be another plugin that is interfering, or it might even be the SSL Duality remote software, but everything works flawlessly when the Lexicon plugins are removed. After each crash, I have to move the Lexicon plugs to the "unused" folder and trash the prefs. Then it's back to normal.
FWIW - My old Otari MTR90's never crashed.......

While I'm not entirely sure if the OS will be related to your issue, I think it's worth trying a test partition with Yosemite. IMHO, it's a better OS than Mavericks. Apple seems to have a pattern of a buggy OS, followed by a more stable refinement. The same was true with Leopard (buggy) -> Snow Leopard (Stable in later releases)
Lion (buggy) -> Mountain Lion (Stable)
