Ummmm.

Pro Tools usually doesn't come without the hardware required to run it. I'm not sure how you could have installed Pro Tools 6.7 without first purchasing the hardware. If you could explain that, we would definitely be able to help you better.

Pro Tools 6.7 is also an old version of Pro Tools. (actually, very old at this point). It would be limited to and compatible with the following hardware only;
  • Digidesign 002 (firewire)
  • Digidesign 002R (firewire)
  • mBox (the original one only; USB)

So, as you can see, if you don't have a firewire connection, and you aren't willing to purchase a PCMCIA firewire card, your only option for 6.7 is the original mbox. If you, for some strange reason, have the software and not the hardware, you are going to have to purchase the hardware which will come with a version of the software anyway, and if you are going to buy hardware that comes with the software, you might as well buy one of the newer hardware units that comes with the newer versions of the software and not limit yourself.

Just having the software does you no good at all.

You may be able to get Protools software, but as explained above, and to put it in concrete words, you actually need to make a real purchase and get the software which comes with its propietary hardware.

For around $300 you can get an Mbox mini USB, wich comes with "basically" everything you could probably need to start recording.
