Default 44.1 and 48 khz

I have a Pod pro that has a selector of 48 or 44.1, should I record it at 48 even though every thing else is at 44.1. I mean can you mix up the recording paths or will the timing be off. And should I be recording at 48 to start with on ptle.

All elements in a session must be at the same sample rate, whatever it is.

The frequency response of the 001 is the same at either 44.1 or 48. If you come into the 001 through the digital inputs, you can get slightly higher frequency response. If you are coming into the mic pre or the analog line inputs, it will make no difference.
