Default Monitoring processed audio during play back

Is there a way that I can monitor an input that is being processed, for example, a guitar track through Eleven, while playing back audio without recording a new track?

Basically I'm trying to practice a part, but don't want to record a new take every time I practice it.

Not quite what I was asking, but I always learn something from your videos. Thanks!

Actually what I was asking was if I could basically jam over my tracks without having to record. The only way that I can hear the processed guitar through Eleven is if I'm actually recording a tracks. But I just want to practice the part.

I guess the best way I could do this is to enable "create new playlist" for each recording and then delete them when I'm done.

Sounds like you just need to press alt + k to switch from auto-input monitoring to input only monitoring.

If you are using Low Latency then no as the plugin would be by-passed.

But if you have 'auto-input' monitoring on you can try stuff without recording.
