Default Lost Xpand2 pList file

In trying to trouble shoot why my Pro Tools 9.06 sometimes hangs while loading Xpand2 on Pro Tools startup, I deleted my Xpand2 PList file thinking that Xpand2 would make a new one.
This has not happened and now everytime I load a session I have to find the Xpand2.big file.
I have tried deleting all 4 Pro Tools prefs files, creating a new session with xpand in it, finding the .big file, playing MIDI and saving an original preset, but it still will not create an Xpand PList file.
Is there anywhere I could get this PList file or force Pro Tools to create one?

John Clavin

I have OSX 10.7.5 now.

Default Re: Lost Xpand2 pList file

Thanks to the people in the other thread concerning this situation I was able to solve my problem, but with a slightly different arrangement.
I copied a Boom Plist file and edited it to be a Xpand2 Plist file, but unlike as was suggested, I had to name it Xpand2.Plist. Xpand!.Plist did not work for me. But interesting is that the Xpand dpm file is XPand!.dpm.
My Xpand2 version is, V2.0.2.10105
I mentioned this to a few disinterested people at AES this past weekend and they all said get Pro Tools 11. I am looking into it.

As I remember correctly, this issue depends on the version of OS X.

I never had such problems (.big file not found & plist not updated correctly) with :
- PT9.0.x + OS X.6
- PT10.3.x + OSX.6
- or PT11 + OS X.8

Only with PT10.3.x and OS X.8

But I never installed OS X.7 so I don't if this problem were already there on this OS version.

There is not direct relationship between the .dpm's filename and the .plist's filename.
