Err (-6104) CPU Usage is holding off USB audio

Every once in a while I get this error but my H/W buffer Size is set to 2048 samples. Anyway to get this err box to stop?

MacPro (4 Processors)
Mbox2 Micro
Satellite LE (For HD Video Files)

Playback Engine:
Playback Buffer is Level 4
Cache Size Large
Plugin Streaming Buffer Level 8
Optimize for streaming content on audio drives is checked.

Not sure what else I can do?

This question should be posted in the LE forum, not the HD one, but since I have both and have seen this error:

Set Hardware buffer for 512, or 1024 *max*, or otherwise as low as is practicable unless you get errors *specifically* recommending that you raise it (generally for high plug-in counts). A buffer of 256 or lower may be just fine depending on what you do. This will also greatly reduce latency on any VIs you might use.

Set DAE buffer at 2 unless you get errors *specifically* telling you to raise it (generally for high edit density or a slow hard drive).

Not sure about "plugin streaming buffer", but otherwise this should do the trick.

Thanks, actually I have an HD system synced to an LE system so kinda an LE/HD question because not sure if it had something to do with the HD satellite link?

Right, well anyway, give what I suggested a shot. I have seen the settings you described cause the exact error you cited on LE systems, at least with laptops, and the one I suggested solved it. Hopefully it'll work for you too.
