downloadable upgrades for digi 001

Hi all, I have digi 001 on a mac G4 with classic ( I use it on OS9) - which i am just setting up -
- is there any downloadable upgrades for digi 001 that can be usefull for me?

like for example I heard there was something that would enable me to use it in OS 10 (if there's an advantage)...

on OS9 be sure to get the 5.1 to version 5.2.1 plus the ß32T DAE, it´s free. this allows ôu to run 32 audio Tracks instead of 24. The upgrade PTLE to version 6.x for OS X will cost you $75 plus P&P from teh digi shop.
If you have version 5.0 the upgrade to 5.1 will cost you $50 but I am not sure if they are sold any more.

It seems to me that you would be best to buy the PT6 upgrade for $75 and use this in OSX - you will end up doing it pretty soon anyway. I just did my second OSX upgrade up to Panther and got the latest version of PT (6.4) and I'm quite happy. Once you buy PT6, you'll be able to download upgrades through the Digi site. Also, they offer some nice free plug-ins from bombfactory on the download page - but I believe they are only for PT6 (so, another reason to go to 6).

Note: You have to be up to at least Jaguar to use PT6. I'm quite happy that I'm up and running in Panther, myself.

OK, I'm a little confused. I currently use 5.2 (32T) in OS 9. I want to upgrade my Protools LE software and move over from my OS 9 system to my Jaguar 10.2.8 drive. I can't find an appropriate upgrade reference to Jaguar on the Digi website. I see the 6.1 upgrade but it only works if you already have 6.0! When I try to find 6.0, Digidesign.com has me going in circles. Can I get the 6.0 upgrade (downloadable or CD) from the website or do I have to go to an actual offline retail store?
