Re: Mac OS X 10.4.6 Now Qualified
Have you stopped testing compatibility for all ProTools 6.9 releases? Just wondering because none of the OS X versions past 10.4.2 have been noted. Thanks.

Re: Mac OS X 10.4.6 Now Qualified
As newer versions of Pro Tools are added to the test grid, previous versions are removed. We have not tested Pro Tools 6 with any newer OS releases since the release of Pro Tools 7.

Does this also apply to G5 Quad 2.5?
Thanks, Hands.

trouble on running pro-tools on Mac OS X 10.4.6
Hello,
I worked with Mbox (1) on MAC OSX panther with no problem, Pro Tools 6.2.2. I just upgraded to OS X 10.4.6 and since can't launch Pro Tools. I get always the same error -1133 (digidesign hardware is in use by another application). I tried every solution indicated on the digidesign support but nothing did it. There's no other application using digidesign hardware, as far as I know. What should I do? A friend told me that I should upgrade to pro tools 7, is that the only solution? Does Pro Tools 7 runs all right on Mbox 1? thank you. |

Re: trouble on running pro-tools on Mac OS X 10.4.6
You need a minimum of Pro Tools 6.9.2 for compatibility with Tiger and, yes, Pro Tools 7 will work with the original Mbox.

Re: Mac OS X 10.4.6 Now Qualified
Do you have a more specific date for the Intel-based Mac compatible release of Pro Tools LE? Thanks.

Re: Mac OS X 10.4.6 Now Qualified
Yeah, we're getting close to the end of May 2006 and I still haven't heard a peep about when Pro Tools LE is going to run on the new Mac Book Pro.
Any news that you can share with us? Thanks, Tor |

Re: Mac OS X 10.4.6 Now Qualified
The current estimate is still the end of May, as it says at the top of the compatibility section:

Re: Mac OS X 10.4.6 Now Qualified
Thanks. I read the compatibility page and all I saw is "in May 2006," not "at the end of May 2006." I was hoping that it would be earlier rather than later in May, but I'll be happy to see it whenever it comes.
