Default How To Make A Photo Copy Of A Session

I'm tired of searching and probably not using the right wording but I want to know how I can make a photo copy of a given PT Session say to send it as an email attachment and when opened (the attachment) it comes up as a jpeg fully viewable. Give me info for both the Mix and Edit Window.

thanks,
-Keith

alt-prtscrn (selected window) or prntscrn (whole desktop) and then paste in Paint. Then save that as .jpg and mail it.

You can paste it in anything. Word, excel, photoshop etc. the Print Screen button on your keyboard actually does just that - it copies the screen to the clipboard. As Bastiaan ( the next Mr. 5000) pointed out, alt - printscreen will copy only the selected window on your screen so you don't see the taskbar, start button, naked picture of girlfriend wallpaper etc.

There. Now I've done it too. I took a perfectly concise response from Bastiaan, repackaged it, threw in some humour, made it longer and used more accurate phrasing - and made the post as if I was the only one who came up with a proper answer. I'll hit 5000 sooner than I thought.

There's a better way.

capteurer is downloadable freeware that is invaluable for grabbing areas of the screen. You click and drag over the bit you want, and it gets saved into the clipboard as a jpeg.

If you use it in conjuction with Clip Cache you can just keep capturing image after image into Clip Cache's memory and then paste them all together later. Clip Cache increases your clipboard from one item to as many as you like. My CC remembers stuff I copied back to 2 years ago. You can even move what you've saved to another machine by copying the Cache file across.

I use both these utilities (particularly CC) all the time in XP and have never had any problems. Extremely useful.

I use both on several of my XP boot ups. Never had a problem.

Mind you I use version 1.0 of Capteurer, and I notice it's up 1.3 now. But that should be ok.

If there's a prob, I can email mine. It's only 77k. Those clever Frenchies.
