Default Cassette 'wobble' effect?

like an old cassette tape that's over-played and not very tight anymore. anyone know a good effect for that?

Definitely the "iZotope Vinyl".
It´s a record player simulation, but you can also imitate an old tape by leaving the crackles and dust stuff away.
Try playing around with the "Warp depth"and "Mechanical Noise" parameter
Great Tool... And its totally FREE

Enjoy

I used PitchBlender to create a pretty good old cassette sound.

iZotpope Vinyl is not bad, but the Warp only works in AUDIOSUITE, and is fairly limited.

Digi's Reel Tape Delay. Set mix to 100%, lowest delay time, and experiment with the wow and flutter controls.

Two years ago I had the same challenge on my hands.

After multiple attempts on various plug-ins, I found the best solution was to find an old tape and old tape deck. Record the audio to the tape, while manually slowing the gearing on the deck down. Gentle movements on either spool really make some interesting effects! Make sure to dub the tape from tape to tape a couple times too.

Hope this helps

Cheers
Kevin
