Issue with TC/E trim tool in PT 12

OS 10.12.2

The first time I use the TC/E trim tool after loading a session, I always get an error that it could not instantiate the TC/E plugin. If I simply open the preferences window and go to the processing pane, then close it, it works after that.

Any reason this would happen and is there any way to fix this without updating software?

just tested, 1st time i have used the TCE so it was a good test .. working fine here but i am on 10.12.6 ... hard to say it would be an OS issue ..

Try trashing your preferences and rebooting PT, this gremlin can sometimes appear but is usually an easy fix.
