Default can't get my computer to recognize my digi003

I just did the protools 9 upgrade. It's bee working great. I just started it up and for some reason the audio is coming through my computer speakers, I can't figure out how to get it to communicate with my 003 to get the sound to come through my monitors there, I didn't change any settings, everything's plugged in the correct places. how do I set it up to communicate with my digi 003 instead? I think it's cool you can work w/o the interface using the iLok, but right now I'm ready to throw a chair through a window, any suggestions?

If it's like every other version of PT, try this...shut down your computer and your 003. Turn your 003 on FIRST and let it go through it's initialization routine. When "003 offline" shows on the LCD, turn your computer on. Boot up PT and it should sync with your 003 and route your audio through the 003 and not the computer speakers. I don't have PT9 quite yet, (waiting to open my Christmas presents LOL) so I don't know if you have to re-do settings for this after the PT9 install. Hope this helps.

Hopefully you installed the updated 002 and 003 drivers BEFORE installing PT9, if not, you'll likely need to uninstall PT9, install the drivers, then reinstall PT9.

Also, try looking at your playback engine settings and make sure that you have your 003 selected.

Merry Christmas!
