Default Loud Noise...?

Ocassionally after I bounce a mix to disk, in 24 bit, then import it into a mastering session there will be a very 'bad, loud' noise at the end of my track. This noise is not present on the mix, just after the bounce. Usually it occurs just after the music dies out and I am able to 'edit' the track and all is well...
For lack of a way to describe this, I created this small graphic, located at the link below, as an illustration to show what the end of my track looks like with the noise. Again, this is not a screen shot, just an illustration. Has anyone ever had this happen? Is it something I'm doing wrong?

BTW, I'm running PT 6.1 LE on WinXP on a PC.

Known issue. Try selecting what you want to bounce prior to bouncing, and add a few seconds before and after the material. It works most of the time, but not always in my case.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll try your suggestions. I never had that problem with PT 5.0.1 which was the version I was using before moving over to XP about 1 month ago...
I forgot to mention, and which may be part of the same 'known issue', but sometimes after I bounce my mix then import it into a mastering session, the files are blank. Just long, quiet .wav files. Is this part of the 'known issue'?

Sounds like you just need to make a habit of selecting exactly what you want to bounce.
