Default hdx with new macpro and sonnet external chassis
Hi Guys,

Need some heads up tips specially using an sonnet external chassis. I'd like to know your feedback/opinion switching from the usual macpro, to the new cylinder type macpro.

working superbly here with HDX2 and 6 core trash can. No special configuration needed.

HDX cards work via ThunderBolt, HD cards won't.

HDX/Sonnett/4 core trash can/PTHD 11.2.2 rock solid.
(...and "Yep! I said 11.2.2...)

Especially pleased with Sonnet's Tempo SSD Pro plus card in the chassis ... 2 500 GB SSD drives in the chassis- one for recording, one for samples/VIs/etc.
... nice to finally be able to concentrate on making music again...
