Default digidesign HD Core drivers sometimes don't show up.

My system is so unstable. Sometimes Pro Tools HD 8.1 starts up fine and other times it takes 10 times turning on and off the computer to get it to start up correctly. I found that when it doesn't start up the HD core drivers in Device Manager are missing. Why would they show up sometimes and not show up others times when I'm not doing anything different? What can I do to make the drivers show up every time I start my computer up?
Thanks!
Rich
