Default Midi timing is off? Opposite of a delay, it records Midi TOO EARLY

I have my midi controller synced up to the protools clock. Whenever I try an arpeggio, like the on shown in the screenshot, it records the midi down too early. Usually about an 1/8th of a bar early. I'm sure this is probably an easy fix since it isn't a delay.

Edit: The issue is present whether I'm using plugins VSTs or just a plain midi track
