Help me import audio Correctly.
Here is my problem, I am using Melodyne bridge to tune vocals and after I do that I save the audio file that is tuned onto my desktop and then import that file into protools onto a new track, then I drag that track where I want it while deleting the old untuned track. Everything works fine but if I trash the file from the desk top it disappears from my mix, shouldn't it place the file into my audio session folder if I'm importing it? I found out that if I go to my audio folder from that session I can import the file there and but I know there's an easier way to this, maybe by saving it to the correct location? I just don't know how to do this correctly. Thanks for your help, I'm still learning. I did read the troubleshooting guide.

Re: Help me import audio Correctly.
In the preferences, you can find an option to copy all imported audio. Tick it, and it will copy for you, whenever you import something. Otherwise it just refere to the file, not copying it.
