Default 002 Driver Is Loaded - Pro Tools Asks For Hardware
I have a fresh installation of Windows 7 and I am running Pro Tools 8.0.3. The only software loaded on the platform is the Ilok device driver.

Windows 7 has no problem recognizing my 002 rack but Pro Tools asks for hardware when I load it and will not continue because it, for some reason, doesn't see the hardware.

What gives?

IIRC, you need to be on 8.0.5. Search for albe1952's posts about the sequence of installing and versions needed to get PT 8 to work on Windows 7.
