Euphonix MC+MIX and PT8
Does anyone know for sure if PT8 will support HUI?
I'm going to buy a new MC+MIX to replace the old US2400 but i've been told from a friend that PT8 won't support HUI anymore. I did a rapid search but i had no exact result. Any news on it before throwing my $$$ in the toilet? Thanks > Mancio

I believe it will be as it has been, the controller profile will be available but not testing will be done
otherwise I think there would be grounds for a class-action if it was dropped completely

I already own an mc mix. If PT8 would exclude HUI, I would be forced to stick to 7.4.2

HUI support will be in Pro Tools 8 and, as Craig mentioned, it won't be given a lot of testing. The profile has been the same for the last few versions and we don't expect any new issues with Pro Tools 8.
