Default Does video RAM speed redraws?

Would adding more video RAM to my desktop G3 speed any PT processes such as screen redraws?

Thanks in advance

yes I think it will, provided you have a limited amount of RAM right now. Or a new graphic card-- it can make a big difference in perceived speed of your machine.

It won't affect any actual audio processes, and probabaly won't raise the speed of the PT redraws either. Any slowdown in redraws from PT is because the processor is somewhat bottlenecked. The cards on the G3 are good enough for PT. If you were doing 3D rendering, or lots of video, then the more the merrier (specificaly, you'd want a new card all together)

Hope this helps

PS, I'm guessing everyone else is home for the holidays?
