Default SD2 files not converting to BWF

Have upgraded to 8.0.1. Running a Digi02 rack and XP.

When opening a PT session from a Mac created with SD2 files, the message pops up that they will be automatically converted to the BWF file format, but this does not happen. Any help would be appreciated.

What DOES happen? In preferneces, do you have "convert .wav to .bwf files" checked?

The session opens and a "Relink Missing Files" dialog box appears.

I select "Relink Automatically" and it closes; the Task Manager then opens & tries to relink, but it can not find the files and time out.

In preferneces, have tried "convert .wav to .bwf files" both ways.

It seems it's missing the entire step of converting the SD2 files to BWF.

Are you running from an NTFS drive?

Yes; the SD2 session is on a Glyph removable formatted as NTFS.

Hmm. I don't know what to say. I've done this and don't understand what could be hanging you up.

When you look at the session in Windows explorer, are the SD files really there? PT will reference the files whether they're actually in the session folder or not. Sorry if that seems overly simplistic, but I've had NUMEROUS occasions where I've gotten sessions from other sources with lots of missing audio files.
