kind thanks and warm regards
I usually put Finder in 'List' view and show view options (command-j) then click to show 'Version'. This keeps one from getting info (or leaving the Finder Inspector - option-command-I - up all the time.

Great idea for an app! I can't wait to put it on a machine to try
out today !

Thank you very much for a very useful app. Digi needs to develop something like AU evaluator so that the application can get rid of incompatible plugins.

This is a brilliant idea. However, for me, I'm getting a whole lot of apps simply coming up as version 1.0, which isn't truly the case. I'll keep experimenting, I'm wondering if it has anything to do with my use of Novation's AutoMap software, which is wrapping certain plugins. But some of the ones also used by AutoMap come up right, so maybe it's not that.

Still a great idea. As others have noted, Altiverb, Speakerphone, don't report their version numbers correctly in the app. In fact, I would say that about 75% of my plugs come up simply as version 1.0, which in fast isn't probably true for any of them.

Tim

Thank you for doing this for us. We all appreciate it very much.

As TimNielsen said, I have run into some of my plug-ins reporting the wrong version. But I greatly appreciate the time it saves so far.

Me too.

Finds no plugins for me. Leopard 10.5.8.

What can I be doing wrong...

CORRECTION: I had to hit "Reload" on the bottom.

All good now thanks :)

Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?

I hope digidesign will take note of this and help you develop it further, even if just by improving their grid!
Herein lies the problem. This is a great app but kinda useless until Avid get a comprehensive list going...
